Springfield Trip info
Today (2/5), your child received a packet of information regarding our Springfield trip which will take place on Friday, June 12. The cost will be $112 per student. There are minimal scholarships available for students to apply for. Students need to return the form indicating interest in applying for a scholarship in order to receive the application. Applications are due by Friday, February 14th. Lastly, your child was given a behavior contract in January to sign and have signed by a parent outlining the expectations to attend the field trip. This form must be returned by Monday, February 10th. Extra copies of all of these forms are in the classroom if your child has misplaced his or her copy.

Wednesday, October 16th
Good evening!
There are a few announcements for today. First of all, a letter went home with your child today. Please ask your child about this and read the letter from Mr. Domovic and Dr. Watson.
Also, classes are CANCELLED for Thursday, October 17th and forward until a contract is reached between CPS and the Teacher's Union. If your child needs care during the day, Jenner campus will remain open to house the students.
If you have any further questions, please contact the main office. Thank you!

Latinx Heritage Month
When: September 15- October 15
Latinx Heritage Month will be celebrated by our class by taking a deeper look into the culture and history. Students will use maps to identify Latino countries, read a variety of poems and essays written my Latino authors, and analyze how artwork by Latino artists portrays their cultures. Students will conduct some research that will be displayed in the hallways for others to see.
